How much does wheel repair cost?
Alloy wheel repair and rim repair pricing varies depending on the amount of damage, the wheel size, the finish and how difficult the colour match is. Pricing can range from $120 per wheel to $380 per wheel, and extreme cases can go higher. SMS your photos to get an accurate quote for your wheels.
How long does wheel repair take?
Some repairs can be completed relatively quickly, and around an hour per wheel is typical for lighter work.
Badly damaged wheels or full sets can take longer. Timing depends on how many wheels are involved, the
damage, and whether the job includes repair only or repair plus repainting.
Typically, a full respray of all 4 wheels is an overnight job.
What paint do you use for wheel painting?
We use automotive 2-pack paint for painted wheel refinishing work. It suits the level of gloss, durability and colour control we need for proper alloy wheel painting and repair work.
Can you paint or colour change my wheels?
Yes. We offer wheel painting, wheel colour changes, gloss black wheel painting, satin black wheel painting and other wheel refinishing options. If you want to move away from the factory colour entirely, we can talk through the best finish for the car.
Can you match factory wheel colours?
Yes, colour matching is a core part of what we do. Manufacturers often do not publish wheel paint codes, so matching depends on experience. Some colours, especially shadow chrome and darker factory greys, are more complex than others.
Can you repair machined or shadow chrome wheels?
We can advise on machined and shadow chrome wheels and handle many cosmetic cases, but these finishes need a different process from standard painted wheels. The correct repair path depends on how the wheel was originally finished.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. Eligible painted wheel repair and refinishing work is covered by a 2-year workmanship warranty.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, EFTPOS, major cards and pay id / bank transfer. We do not accept AMEX.
Do you offer brake caliper painting?
Yes. Brake caliper painting is available as a standalone service or bundled with wheel painting packages. Logos and decal options can also be discussed.
Do you offer 4x4 Raptor coating?
Yes. We offer 4x4 Raptor coating and offroad paint protection from our Ringwood workshop. Send through photos and details of the areas you want coated and we can advise on the next step.
How do I get a quote?
The easiest way is to send clear photos of the wheels, calipers or vehicle, let us know the wheel size and finish, and tell us whether you want repair only, refinishing, a colour change or Raptor coating.
